Smart Way to Use Raw Foods to Have Unstoppable Energy and Zest for Life!
As an ex-caffeine addict, I know that it’s not easy to transition from hectoliters of coffee to green smoothies. Very few people can go cold turkey even if, deep inside, they want to. It’s because of the fact that when your body gets addicted to caffeine, it starts suffering from side effects, like headaches or even moodiness, when you just “switch it off” from one day to another. I also believe that there is nothing wrong with an occasional use of caffeine. Personally, I am a big fan of green tea. Of course, don’t overdo it. This is why I recommend you try this smoothie. It will help you make a transition to quit or reduce coffee, reduce anxiety in your life and just FEEL good. Continue reading

How to Lose Weight, Have More Energy and Beat Sugar Addiction
If you are looking for long-term health success and you are sick and tired of diets that don’t work, unrealistic cleanses or torturing yourself with exaggerated workout routines, this article will help you. Overcoming sugar cravings is not as simple as going cold-turkey without having any solid plan to fall back on. The problem is that we very often perceive problems such as: weight gain, lack of energy, moodiness (and even anxiety) and uncontrolled sugar addiction as separate problems that require separate solutions- usually quick fixes or, in some cases, swallowing the pill that can make things worse…The truth is that the real holistic solution has been hidden from us. Main stream marketing makes us go for other things (let’s call them fads, OK?) so that we stay sick and tired (some people create entire businesses around people who are sick and tired). Read on to discover the simple solution that has helped me lose weight, beat sugar addiction and even cure a weird auto-immune disease that was provoking a really serious eye condition (uveitis)… Continue reading
Can This Program Really Help You Look and Feel Amazing?
I have been receiving many questions about the Total Wellness Cleanse Program lately, and since I have been through the program twice myself (and I will do it again), I wanted to give you my honest opinion and what you can expect from it.
Some of the questions I got from my followers were: “But isn’t it just another online health scam?” or “How can I know I can trust this guy”, or: “I am not too sure if I can commit to a cleanse”, or” But Marta, you always say you are not a proponent of drastic cleanses and weird detoxes- these are your own words”. Well, in this blog post, we are going to dive deep into the philosophy behind the Total Wellness Cleanse and we will also “investigate” its co-creator, Yuri Elkaim. I hope that the information I present in this post, will help you make a decision so that you know whether this program is actually for, as well as when it’s the best time to commit to it and how to go about it.

Alkaline Diet- The Common Sense Approach
Lately, I have been getting lots of questions about the Alkaline Diet. Since the questions I quote today are the questions I was asking myself when I first got started on my alkaline journey, I decided to turn them into a Q & A session blog article that all my dear readers can benefit from. I always say that everyone is different and everyone has a unique style of eating which is beautiful. The most important thing when it comes to creating wellness through balanced nutrition, is to listen to your body. Of course, there are certain rules to keep in mind, and having a reliable and proven source of information can save you lots of time and frustration. However, remember that I am not telling you to go on a super strict alkaline diet. I am giving you information and inspiration so that you can create your own alkaline way and I am not saying that what I do is the only path to wellness and health. Even though I am an alkaline girl, and I love it, I take inspiration from other diets as well. I try to keep my mind open. Nothing is set in stone. With that being said, we are ready to dive into questions and answers!
Your Nutritious and Delicious Alkaline Recipes on the Go
Very often, I hear my family, friends or clients saying: “I heard of the alkaline diet, it makes sense, and I am really motivated to try, but the problem is time. How can I make it work on a busy schedule?” or “ I went alkaline for a couple of weeks and felt great, but it was kind of getting time-consuming, and so I got off track. How do I turn my motivation into sustainable, alkaline-friendly habits?” Now, let me clear up one thing: while I do agree that the common belief that “self-care is easier/more doable when one has more free time” is not untrue, I must also admit that not all people who have plenty of free time eat healthy. Plus, you can also find people on super busy schedules who simply learn how to plan their meals and organize their lifestyles so that their nutrition does not suffer. If this is something you would like to learn, read on, and you will understand that more often than not, “I don’t have time” is an excuse. You are just about to discover the basics of “health productivity”!

Alkaline Lifestyle & Foods part 1: Alkaline Veggies
Just as I promised in one of my previous blog posts that included general alkaline charts, I will be now chunking it all down and analyzing all foods in detail so that you can learn which fruits, veggies, grains, supplements, drinks, nuts, legumes and other foods are alkaline and which ones are acidic. In this “episode” we are going to cover all alkaline veggies, which is, without any doubt, the easiest lesson, as almost all vegetables are alkaline. However, it is good to know that some of them are super alkaline and some of them are moderately/mildly alkaline. I have marked the most alkaline veggies as “Highly Alkaline” and if you are struggling with low energy levels I suggest you start alkalizing it up with them (as soon as you can!). I have also included 3 super alkaline and delicious recipes. So, let’s dive into it!
